The theme for my Weekly Geek Photos Week will be: bookshelves and libraries! Unfortunately, I don't own a digital camera, so I'll have to rely mostly on photos taken by Flickr. But never mind, there's one of my own in the mix!
The library I'd like to have: organized by colour, all rainbow-like!

Below you can see the library we do have at home (and myself in front of it--the laurel crown was for my graduation):

And with books packed so tightly together, who
needs a bookshelf?

I love the rainbow shelves. And that bookshop looks very cool indeed.
I'd love to be able to make my own rainbow shelves!
Oh, hey I linked to your post! I hope you don't mind. I like what you showed this week. I am quite new here in the GW themed weeks. My first post. ;) Nice to meet you!
@ daydream: thank you for the link! Of course I don't mind! Welcome in the WG community!
I like the look of the bookstore with the rounded bookshelves!
Yey! Thanks for the welcome! I'm excited.
Very nice! I especially love the rainbow shelves!
The rainbow shelves made me look at my own and think Hmmmm..... I wonder if I could do that?
Thank you everybody for stopping by! It seems everyone likes the rainbow shelves, like me.
Excellent pictures! I would have never thought of arranging by color!
I have bookshelves in every room of the house, and they're all overflowing. I have to clean them out regularly and give books away, or else we'd be overrun by all my books.
Welcome to the challenge! And I love that picture of rainbow books :D
Where is that bookstore??? Must go...
Fun photos.
@ Terri:
"La caverne aux livres is a secondhand bookshop in Auvers-sur-Oise (30km to the North of Paris). The entrance of the bookshop is an ancient railway hangar, but from there you'll quickly find yourself in an old postal train whose cars have been reconverted into giant bookshelves. "

You found some great photos. I'd love to try color-coordinating my books but first I'd need quite a bit more space. And I love that bookshop!
