What's On Your Nightstand? is a monthly carnival hosted by 5 Minutes for Books. It consists in sharing with your readers what books you plan to read in that month, that is what books you have on your nightstand/shelf/TBR pile.I actually have a few piles, one on my nightstand, and a couple on my shelves. Anyway, tehse are the books I'm reading now or plan to read very soon:
- The Wednesday Sisters by Meg White Clayton, a review copy courtesy of Random House - I've started this but not finished
- The Sitting Swing by Irene Watson, another review copy - I've started this and I'd better finish it soon
- Down to a Sunless Sea by Mathias Freese, a review copy of a collection of short stories which I'm reading for the Short Story September Challenge
- The Tenth Gift by Jane Johnson, an ARC courtesy of Random House - I've read a few pages of this and it looks fantastic!
- The Triumph of Deborah by Eva Etsioni Halevy - a review copy courtesy of the author. I've read the first chapters of this, and I'm very surpirsed because it's a real page-turner!
- The Delrey Book of Science Fiction and Fantasy, a collection of short stories I'm keeping for the Short Story September Challenge
- The Ivory and the Horn by Charles de Lint, another collection of fantasy short stories that I'm keeping for the Short Story September Challenge
- Silver Salts by Mark Blagrave, a book I'm reviewing for Mini Book Expo which I haven't gotten around to finish yet.
As you can see, I have my work cut out for me!

I have a copy of The Tenth Gift that I haven't started yet! Cannot wait to see your reviews.
The Tenth Gift sounds like an intriguing title -- not even knowing what the subject matter is! It was fun to read your list.
Thank you Julie, Michele and Carrie for your comments!
wow you have a lot of books in progress! I have a hard time keeping up with more than one fiction story at a time. :-P
I haven't heard of any of these! Not surprising really. There are so many books out there to read.
I've been interested in checking out the Wednesday Sisters. It sounds like my kind of book!
Thanks for joining in.
