Library Loot January 28-February 3

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by myself and Eva that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post any time during the week-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries!

No new books for me this week. I was so frustrated with The Time Traveller's Wife that I returned it without finishing it. I still have at home four other books, none of which I have started. It's not a good period for me to get reading... my mind is too preoccupied with other things to get down to my books. It's just a period; I know it's going to pass. In the meantime, I just have to hang in there.

I know how you feel. It really does happen that way at times and it can be quite annoying. It'll pass! :)

Don't worry Alessandra, the good feelings will return, and so will your readers. Reading (and blogging) should be a pleasure. Check out this link, I have the button in my sidebar to remind myself.

I hope you find something that gives you energy -- and not necessarily a book!

Hi Alessandra,
I'm new to your blog. Really like Library Loot. I've added a link and like to invite you to check out my blog and particularly a contest and giveway we're hosting at Color Online. Thanks.

I just love your new feature! I can't really do Library Loot since my library has sucky choice of books and I rarely rent from them. But I love hearing about your Library Loot! I tagged you for a meme here: http://koriannespeaks.blogspot.com/2009/01/happy-meme.html

Wow, most people who read The Time Traveller's Wife really like it.

Love the idea of Library Loot!

I'm sorry you didn't get on with "The Time Traveller's Wife. I loved it but it does seem to be one of those books that divides people. I want you to know that i always enjoy reading your blog and I have left you an award

Aw, I'm sorry The Time Traveler's Wife was a disappointment. It stinks when a book is built up so much and just doesn't work for me. Hope your next read is a better fit.

I love the Library Loot idea but haven't gotten it together to actually join in, yet. Maybe next library trip I'll remember before they get eaten by the TBR monster pile!
