Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by myself and Eva that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries!Click here to add your post to Mr Linky.
This week, I took from the library the following books:
- A Cool Moonlight by Angela Johnson, a children's book to celebrate Black History Month (Italian translation)
- Kindred by Octavia Butler, sort of science fiction, also for Black History Month (Italian translation)
- Slaughterhouse no. 5 by Kurt Vonnegut, Italian translation, for the WWII reading challenge.

I'm glad to see you made it to the library this week.
Which one are you reading now.

I really want to read Slaughterhouse 5. I've only ever read Hocus Pocus by him so far, but it was great.

looks like you got some good reads from the library. Slaughterhouse 5 is a good one.
Kindred is an excellent book!
I plan to read Slaughterhouse 5 for a couple challenges too.
Kindred is haunting. It stayed with me for days. Be prepared to be angry, outraged, conflicted and anxious.
Butler without fail challenges her readers to re-examine their beliefs, views and actions. What we think is we know for sure gets shaken up in a Butlter novel. Enjoy.
I found you through Breaking the Spine.
